As is shown in the cartoon, even a hen has learned how to promise. Undoubtedly it is hen’s duty to lay eggs. And the eggs of course contain shell, yolk and egg whites. But now all this needs to be promised.　　It is not uncommon to find more such unnecessary promises. For example, to ensure the quality of the goods is the responsibility and duty of a store. However, some stores will stick up a notice promising “there is no fake product here”. It sounds so ridiculous.　　As far as I’m concerned, doing is better than saying.
