解析As can be seen from this pie chart, during Spring Festival holiday, different proportions of consumption are taken by different activities of citizens of a city in China. What accounts for the biggest proportion of consumption is that of New Year presents, 40%, followed by that of traffic and gatherings & dinners, 20% respectively.　In my eyes, reasons for this phenomenon can be summarized as follows: above all, as Chinese people’s economic status and purchasing power have been raised greatly, they are more willing to purchase presents of high quality over those of low price to show their concern and gratitude to others. Secondly, influenced by the ancient notion that courtesy calls for reciprocity, people feel compulsory to give and return presents to strengthen their bond with others. At last, Chinese people always put family ties and friendship first and tend to visit each other with presents during holidays, especially during Spring Festival, which allow them to communicate intensively and celebrate holidays together.　From this pie chart, we can predict that the proportion of consumption of New Year presents will continue increasing with rapid economic development all over China. It reflects that Chinese people’s consumption structure has changed greatly with its focus shifting from food and living materials to various objects, which shall be both encouraged and guided.
